Sail Komodo on Semesta Voyages
Semesta Voyages is a 32-metre phinisi sailing from Labuan Bajo into Komodo National Park, for up to eighteen guests. Its eight air-conditioned cabins are named after the planets and each has a private bathroom: the Moon cabin on the upper deck with a private balcony and jacuzzi for up to four guests, the Mars cabin with a bathtub, the Earth cabin with a private balcony and jacuzzi and the Sun cabin with a bathtub, and the Pluto, Venus, Jupiter and Mercury cabins on the lower deck.
Book a cabin on a scheduled sharing trip and share the boat with other guests, or charter the whole boat for your group.
A Friday to Sunday trip
Semesta Voyages sails on a Friday to Sunday schedule, with pick-up from the airport or your hotel between 8:00 and 9:30. On Friday you hike Kelor Island, snorkel at Manjarite and anchor off Kalong Island for the sunset. Saturday is the full day in the park: Padar Island before breakfast, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar and Manta Point. On Sunday morning there is one more snorkel at Siaba or Sebayur before the boat returns to Labuan Bajo at noon.
Four of the eight cabins have a private jacuzzi or bathtub, which makes Semesta a comfortable choice for couples, and the Moon cabin takes up to four guests. Meals, drinking water, coffee and tea, afternoon snacks, snorkelling gear, canoes and paddle boards, a guide and drone and GoPro photos are included. The Komodo National Park entrance fee is added when you book.
Komodo National Park has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. To plan your trip on Semesta Voyages, compare other 3 day 2 night Komodo liveaboards, check the Komodo National Park fees and read how booking works.
