Sail Komodo on Derya Liveaboard
Derya Liveaboard is a 22-metre deluxe phinisi sailing from Labuan Bajo into Komodo National Park, for up to thirteen guests. Its four air-conditioned cabins are named after islands of the Komodo region and each has a private bathroom: the Padar cabin on the upper deck with a private balcony and bathtub for up to four guests, the Komodo cabin on the main deck for up to three, and the Rinca and Kanawa cabins on the lower deck.
Book a cabin on a scheduled sharing trip and share the boat with other guests, or charter the whole boat for your group.
A Friday to Sunday trip
Derya sails on a Friday to Sunday schedule, with pick-up from the airport or your hotel between 8:00 and 9:30. Day one takes in Kelor Island, the reef at Manjarite and the sunset at Kalong Island. Day two is the full day in the park: an early hike on Padar Island, Pink Beach, a walk among the dragons on Komodo Island, Taka Makassar and Manta Point, where manta rays are often seen. You snorkel once more at Siaba or Sebayur on the last morning and are back in Labuan Bajo by noon.
With four cabins, Derya is small enough to charter for a family or a group of up to thirteen guests. Meals, drinking water, coffee and tea, afternoon snacks, Wi-Fi, snorkelling gear, canoes and paddle boards, a guide and drone and GoPro photos are included. The Komodo National Park entrance fee is added when you book.
Komodo National Park has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. To plan your trip on Derya Liveaboard, compare other 3 day 2 night Komodo liveaboards, check the Komodo National Park fees and read how booking works.
