Le Costa is a 28-metre wooden phinisi sailing from Labuan Bajo into Komodo National Park on 4 day 3 night sharing trips, for up to eighteen guests in six air-conditioned cabins, each with a private bathroom and hot shower. The cabins carry the names of Mediterranean resorts. Santorini, the master cabin on the main deck, has a super king bed, room for a third guest and a jacuzzi bath. Capri and Marbella on the main deck and Ibiza and Monaco on the upper deck have a queen bed and a sea view, and Ibiza and Monaco take a third guest. Portofino, the family cabin on the lower deck, has two queen beds for four and two extra beds for up to six.
A crew of twelve and a cruise director look after the trip. Guests share a bright lounge and a dining room with a bar, sofa beds on every deck, a sun deck on the roof, Wi-Fi, a TV and karaoke, with paddle boards and snorkelling gear for the water.
The first day snorkels at Sebayur and Siaba and climbs Gili Lawa Darat. The second visits Taka Makassar, Manta Point, the Long Pink Beach and the Komodo dragons at Loh Liang. The third climbs Padar, snorkels at Pengah and ends with the flying foxes of Kalong Island at sunset. The last morning snorkels at Manjarite and walks on Kelor before the boat is back in Labuan Bajo at about 13:00. Most departures run Thursday to Sunday, with Monday to Thursday trips added in the busiest months.
