Day 1 Embarking on your Scuba Liveaboard
Sorong – Waisai Arrive latest by 12pm cruising to Waisai Activities around Saonek Achoring at Waisai On Day 1, after arriving in Sorong and cruising to Waisai, you can engage in various activities around Saonek. These activities may include snorkeling, kayaking, or exploring the beautiful beaches. Once you have finished your day’s adventures, the Tambora Liveaboard will anchor at Waisai for the night.
Day 2
You will have the opportunity to snorkel and scuba dive around the stunning Dampier Strait. This area is known for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. One popular spot to visit is Cape Kri, where you can witness an abundance of colourful fish and coral formations. Additionally, you can also take a trip to Sawandarek Village to experience the local culture and traditions. After a day filled with underwater exploration, the Tambora Liveaboard will continue cruising. This region is the best chance to spot tasseled Wobbegong sharks.
Day 3
Visit beaches – Cruise to one of the most iconic sites of Cape Kri, followed by Sawandarek Island, famous for its breathtaking jetty with a huge amount of life under it, with yellowtail barracuda, turtles, sweetlips and jacks. Then head to either Manta Ridge or Manta Sandy to experience an exhilerating encounter with mantas – often having to hook on to a single spot and just watch the action around your. This may be followed by a sunset dive at Arborek Jetty before dinner. As you continue your journey, the Tambora Liveaboard will take you to towards the north renowned for its remote location and pearl farms on the way…..
Day 4
Weather permitting, we keep heading north and dive iconic sites like White arrow, Tear drop corner around Aljui area. Here the topography changes from slope dives to wall and often drift dives with stunning soft corals, gorgonian fans and a wide variety of nudibranchs, eels and often a passing ray or turtle. A night dive under the jetty here is one of the highlights of this area. If the weather turns foul, we do more iconic sites here and take shelter in the bays – and then continue northwards overnight.
Day 5
You will immerse yourself and scuba dive around Wayag – Eagle Rock and Black Rock, where you can witness the breathtaking underwater world filled with colorful coral reefs and diverse marine life including sharks, schools of jacks and many others. this day we have reduced number of dives as we may embark on a trek up Mount Pindito to catch a glimpse of the stunning panoramic views that Wayag has to offer. Finally, you will conclude your day with a relaxing cruise to Fam Island, known for its enchanting shark lagoon where you can observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Optionally meander through the narrow waterways and we go to a secluded lagoon for a sundowner and a bonfire to add to the mood. After dinner we start our journey back towards the central area.
Day 6
This morning (weather permitting) we go up Piaynemo for a leisurely walk up stairs and get group pictures at the top with stunning views of the bay. Todays highlight will be Melissa’s garden – and you will be amazed by the amount of schooling fish and the huge expanses of corals that stretch to the horizon. Two more dives in the sites surrounding the area – including MY reef and then we begin our long journey to South Raja Ampat – i.e. Misool area
Day 7
Depending on weather we start our dives at Balbulol / Daram, where we choose the best dive sites around us as we communicate with Misool to get our slots to dive in the iconic spots the next day. This has to be done before sundown and we may do a night dive tonight
Day 8
Fiabacet- have the opportunity to explore the underwater wonders of Fiabacet These sites are known for their diverse marine life and stunning coral formations. sites such as Boo window, Romeo, Whale Rock await us – all subject to getting a slot to dive there as each boat is allocated specific time slots by a central authority. After your underwater adventures, you will have the chance to visit Love Lake, a serene oasis surrounded by lush vegetation. You will then spend the night at Wayil Batan, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful destination.
Day 9
Wayil Batan Tour Lagoon Snorkeling and diving around Wayil Batan Cruise to Daram Island, where you can explore its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, Here, you can also witness the vibrant marine life and colourful coral reefs that make this area a popular diving spot. Dives today could include, Boo East, Eagle west. After a day of exploration, you will return to Wayil Batan for another peaceful evening surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Day 10
Today, its decision making time depengind on guest’s choice and flying time. You may opt to explore the enchanting Tomolol Caves while snorkeling in its surrounding waters. Afterward, you have the chance to visit the famous Jellyfish Lake in Balbulol, where you can swim among these mesmerizing and harmless creatures. If diving is more important, and you have a late flight, we are flexible to drop the land excursions and do dives around sites like Andiamo. After diving your crew does all the necessary cleaning of your equipment and putting it out to dry. As your cruise continues to Sorong, you can reflect on the unforgettable experiences and memories made during your time in Wayil Batan and Daram.
Day 11
You will check out of your accommodation in Sorong and bid farewell to Raja Ampat. As you leave, take a moment to appreciate the unique marine life and pristine beaches you had the privilege to explore during your snorkeling and scuba diving adventures. Cherish the memories created on our liveaboard and carry them with you as you embark on your next journey.
The Tambora liveaboard offers a fantastic diving experience in Raja Ampat, specifically in the Misool region. This itinerary is carefully designed to showcase the breathtaking underwater beauty of Misool’s vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. DAY 1
Sorong-Misool Arriving latest by 12 p.m. Check dive Cruising to Misool – South approximately 12 – 14 hours Upon arrival in Misool, you will have the opportunity to participate in a check dive to ensure your equipment is functioning properly and to acclimate yourself to the underwater environment. Afterward, during this time, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you make your way to your diving destination.
DAY 2
Balbulol-Wagmab on this day you will have the chance to explore the stunning underwater world around Balbulol and Wagmab. You can snorkel and dive in these areas, discovering hidden gems such as the Masker Cave. Additionally, you will also get the opportunity to visit the mesmerizing Jellyfish Lake, where you can witness these graceful creatures up close.
DAY 3
You will have the incredible opportunity to snorkel and dive in the Yilliet area. This area is known for its abundant marine life, including sharks, which you can observe up close at the shark lagoon. After a thrilling day of underwater exploration, you can also experience the magic of a night dive in the Yilliet Area, where you can witness a whole new world come alive under the cover of darkness.
DAY 4
Warakaraket and Fiabacet – diving around the Fiabacet area Shadow Reef, Boo Window, Boo East, and Whale Rock are some of the popular dive sites in the Fiabacet area. These sites offer a diverse range of marine life, from colorful coral reefs to unique underwater rock formations. Exploring these sites will give you a chance to encounter a variety of fish species, including vibrant tropical fish and larger pelagic species like manta rays and turtles. Don’t miss the opportunity to capture stunning underwater photographs and create lasting memories of your diving adventure in the Fiabacet area.
DAY 5
Fiabacet adventure, make sure to explore the stunning underwater world of Karawapop. Snorkeling and diving in this area will allow you to discover hidden gems such as Nudi-Tank Rock, Kalig Reef, and Baracuda Reef. Additionally, don’t forget to visit Love Lake for a unique and picturesque experience. End your day by anchoring at Wayil Batan for an unforgettable night dive.
DAY 6
Continue your exploration of the stunning underwater world by snorkeling and diving around Balok and Wayil Batan. Discover the vibrant marine life at spots like 4 Kings, Orange Peel, Wedding Cake, and Tour Lagoon. And for a truly unforgettable experience, don’t miss the opportunity to go on a night dive while cruising to Daram.
DAY 7
Conclude your diving adventure with two final dives in Daram at Andiamo and Warna Berwarna. As you cruise back to Sorong, take in the breathtaking scenery and reflect on the incredible underwater encounters you’ve had throughout your journey.

After checking out of Sorong, take some time to explore the city and immerse yourself in the local culture. Visit the bustling markets, try delicious Indonesian cuisine, or even embark on a land excursion to nearby natural attractions. Our liveaboard cruise offers a variety of diving experiences, including wall dives, drift dives, reef dives, and muck dives. The itinerary includes stops at Bitung, Lembeh, Tanjung Fresco, Gorontalo, Tomini Bay, Togean Togian Island Group, Boalemo, Luwuk & Banggai, Saponda, and Kendari.
DAY 1
Bitung Arriving latest by 12pm Check dive in the heaven of macro – Lembeh. Mandarin fish is the highlight of this dive site. The waters are teeming with unique marine life, including the rare banggai cardinalfish and Salvador Dali sponges. The crystal clear blue water provides excellent visibility for divers to explore the vibrant underwater world.
DAY 2
Lembeh 3 dives – Cruising about 10 hours from Bitung, divers will reach the Lembeh Straits, known as the “Critter Capital of the World.” This area is famous for its incredible biodiversity and is a paradise for macro photography enthusiasts. Divers can expect to encounter a wide range of fascinating critters such as flamboyant cuttlefish, hairy frogfish, and pygmy seahorses. The three dives planned for this day will allow divers to fully immerse themselves in this underwater wonderland.
DAY 3
Tanjung Fresco – The sites of Tanjung Fresco, situated at the foot of the point bearing the same name, offers beautifully colorful pinnacles. Here again, we find abundant sponges plus soft and hard corals and macro-fauna. Divers can explore the vibrant coral gardens and swim through the towering pinnacles, creating a breathtaking backdrop for underwater photography. The diverse marine life includes schools of colorful reef fish, elusive octopuses, and graceful sea turtles, making each dive at Tanjung Fresco a truly unforgettable experience.
DAY 4
The diving adventure continues as we cruise to Gorontalo. Gorontalo is known for its unique underwater topography, with steep walls and dramatic drop-offs. Divers can expect to encounter a wide variety of marine species, including large pelagics such as sharks and rays. The visibility in Gorontalo is often excellent, allowing for stunning views of the vibrant coral reefs and abundant marine life. Get ready for an exhilarating day of diving in this captivating destination.
DAY 5
Tomini Bay Gorontalo, located right in Tomoni bay, centre Sulawesi, has a good combination of dive sites with steep drop offs, overhangs, caverns, caves, pinnacles and chimneys clogged with white fans, numerous gorgonian sea fans, dramatic walls with dense coral growth and mixed coral gardens up shallow in addition to black coral bushes and large sponges. Divers can find several large Salvador Dali sponges (Petrosia lignosa), including a huge cluster of barrel sponges. This species of large sponge was discovered in Tomini Bay in the 1920s and is only found on deep walls around this area.
DAY 6
Togean Island Group (Kepulauan Togian) is an archipelago of six main and about 60 smaller islands that are of volcanic origin; actually, Una Una in the northwest is an active volcano. The island’s unique geography has created three distinct types of reefs—atolls, barrier reefs, and fringing reefs—in one of the few areas of the world where all three can be found in the same area. There are numerous fascinating dive sites here, from a large barrier reef, where there are caves, overhangs, and swim-throughs along with exciting schooling fish action and swift currents, to smaller fringing reefs as well as a few atolls. The reefs and large coastal mangrove areas are habitat and breeding areas for the hawksbill turtle, the green turtle, and the dugong. Fish life is abundant, with sightings of reef sharks, rays, tunas, and barracudas being common. There are plenty of turtles, Napoleon wrasse, bumphead parrotfish, and realms of colorful reef inhabitants. Apart from the number and variety of fish, the Togians feature amazing corals and black coral bushes, huge gorgonians and whip corals stretching high into the blue, and stunning barrel sponges on the reef.
DAY 7
Boalemo The walls here are spectacular sites with soft corals and good chances to see a lot of fish like mackerels, tunas, barracudas, surgeonfish, sweetlips, and triggerfish in the blue, especially when the current is running. These walls also provide shelter for various species of sea turtles, which can often be spotted gracefully swimming through the vibrant coral gardens. Additionally, lucky divers may even encounter larger marine creatures, such as reef sharks and eagle rays, gliding through the depths.
DAY 8
Luwuk & Banggai The Banggai island group is located in the eastern part of central Sulawesi, at the border between the Banda Sea and the Maluku Sea. Most of the dives are on off-shore reefs with vertical walls down to several hundred meters. You can easily drift along these beautiful walls, with a lot of gorgonians and black coral bushes, small caves, and overhangs. On some fringing reefs, you may also encounter larger animals like turtles, groupers, and occasionally sharks and
rays. The inner islands, the atolls, are more protected for critters like frogfish, ribbon eel, bobtail squid, and endemic species like the Banggai cardinalfish.
DAY 9
Saponda On the way to Kendari, we stop by this set of coral atolls composed of flat reefs and deep drop-offs. Exploration dives. Long Cruising after the last dive, about 12 p.m. The coral atolls of Saponda offer a diverse range of underwater landscapes, including flat reefs and deep drop-offs. These unique formations provide opportunities for exploration dives, allowing divers to discover the hidden wonders of the ocean and giving you ample time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding seascape.
DAY 10
Kendari Check out and bid farewell to the stunning coral atolls of Saponda. As you leave this paradise behind, take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences and memories you have made during your exploration dives. The crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life will forever remain etched in your mind, making this trip a truly remarkable adventure.

Suanggi 3 dives at Suanggi – Cruising to Banda Neira achipelago for more scuba diving adventures. Banda Neira is famous for its historical significance as the center of the spice trade in the 16th century, and it also offers stunning underwater landscapes with colorful coral gardens and abundant marine species. We will explore different dive sites in Banda Neira, immersing ourselves in the rich history and natural beauty of this unique destination.
DAY 3
Banda Neira Archipelago 3 dives – Batu Kapal , Pohon miring and Hole in The Wall Cruise to Serua Island for more diving opportunities. Serua Island is known for its diverse marine life and pristine coral reefs, providing a perfect setting for underwater exploration. During our cruise to Serua Island, we will have the chance to dive at three different sites, including Batu Kapal, Pohon miring, and Hole in The Wall, each offering their own unique underwater landscapes and marine species. Mahangetang 3_4 dives crossing to Sangihe /Tahuna you will continue your diving adventure as you make your way to Mahangetang. After your dives, you will cross over to Sangihe/Tahuna, where more exciting underwater exploration awaits. DAY 6
You will have the opportunity to embark on 3-4 thrilling dives in the surrounding area. DAY 7
Tahuna 3-4 dives a day crossing Tahulandang and exploring its diverse marine ecosystems. As you navigate through the underwater landscape, you’ll be mesmerized by the kaleidoscope of colors and the sheer abundance of marine species. Diving adventure in Tahuna, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the stunning dive sites of Tahulandang and Biaro. With three to four dives planned for the day, you can choose to cross either Bangka or Talise, two breathtaking locations known for their rich marine biodiversity. As you descend into the crystal-clear waters, be prepared to witness an array of vibrant coral reefs teeming with life. From tiny seahorses and colorful nudibranchs to vibrant corals.
DAY 9
Bangka/ Talise 3-4 dives crossing Bitung Strait, you’ll be amazed by the variety of marine species that call these waters home. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for larger inhabitants like turtles, reef sharks, and even the occasional manta ray gliding gracefully through the currents. This diving adventure in Tahuna promises to be an unforgettable experience for any underwater enthusiast.
DAY 10
Bitung/ Lembeh after the last 2 dives visit ” Tangkoko national park”. In addition to the incredible marine life in Lembeh, there is Tangkoko National Park which offers a unique opportunity to explore the terrestrial biodiversity of North Sulawesi. This protected area is home to a rich array of wildlife, including the critically endangered crested black macaque and the elusive tarsier. Embark on a guided trek through the lush rainforest and keep your eyes peeled for these fascinating creatures as you immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Lembeh.
DAY 11
After your adventure in Tangkoko National Park, make your way to Bitung for a check-out of Tambora. Bitung is a bustling coastal city known for its vibrant markets and delicious seafood. Take some time to explore the local culture and indulge in fresh seafood delicacies before continuing your journey.
The 12D 11N Vessel Tambora itinerary includes a variety of dive sites which are chosen depending on potential changes due to weather and sea conditions. Guests are required to check in before 12pm in Kendari to ensure a smooth start.
The itinerary includes dives around Wakatobi, followed by a crossing to Komba Volcano. There, the itinerary includes three dives around Komba Volcano, followed by a trip to Alor. The dive sites in Alor are determined based on weather and sea conditions.

Kendari check-in not later than 12pm Upon arrival in Kendari, guests are required to check in before 12pm to ensure a smooth start to the itinerary. Please note that any changes to the dive sites may occur depending on weather and sea conditions.

Dives around Wakatobi and on day 5 leave Wakatobi around wakatobi crossing to komba volcano”
DAY 6
Will be dedicated to exploring Komba Volcano with three dives. After the dives, we will cross over to Alor for further exploration. Please note that the itinerary is subject to change based on weather and sea conditions.
DAY 7
We will have the opportunity to do 3 to 4 dives. The specific dive sites will be determined based on the weather and sea conditions. Please keep in mind that the itinerary is subject to change for safety reasons.
DAY 8
We will visit Pura Beangabang for 3 to 4 dives before crossing over to Pulau Rusa. The dive sites at Pura Beangabang will be chosen based on the prevailing weather and sea conditions. It is important to note that the itinerary may be adjusted for safety purposes.
DAY 9
We will have the opportunity to explore Pulau Rusa with two dives before making our way to Lamalera. During our time at Pulau Rusa, we will carefully select the dive sites based on the current weather and sea conditions. Additionally, please be aware that the itinerary may be modified for safety reasons. After our visit to Lamalera, we will have a chance to experience a thrilling night dive before crossing over to Watupeni.
DAY 10

DAY 11
Serbete or Pamana or pulau Babi The last two dives at this area will provide us with the opportunity to explore the vibrant coral reefs and encounter a diverse range of marine life. These dives will be a memorable way to conclude our underwater adventure before heading back to the mainland.
DAY 12
Maumere check out and departure. We will bid farewell to our diving companions and return to Maumere, where we will check out of our accommodations and prepare for our journey back home. It has been an incredible journey exploring the underwater wonders of this region, and we will cherish the memories we have made.
The Ambon, AMQ, Molucas, Ceram Sea Expedition is a 11-day cruise to Suanggi, a stunning location with stunning views of the Ceram Sea. The itinerary includes two dives in Suanggi, a boat ride to Banda Neira, a tour of the island, and a nighttime dive.
The cruise then continues to Koon Island, where you will have two dives, a long cruise to South Raja Ampat, four dives at Fiabacet, and a cruise through the Boo Area to Jef Pele. The cruise ends with a sunset cruise to Sorong.
DAY 1
Upon arrival no later than 12pm, check in and cruise to Suanggi for approximately 14 hours , enjoying the scenic views of the Ceram Sea along the way. On Day 2, wake up to the stunning beauty of Suanggi and begin your first dive at this pristine location.

After a thrilling experience at Manuk Island with three dives, make sure to depart no later than 3 p.m. for a relaxing cruise to Koon Island. Enjoy the scenic views and prepare for the next adventure awaiting you there.

Check Out, it’s time to check out and bid farewell to the beautiful island of Nusa Laut. Boalemo The walls here are spectacular sites with soft corals and good chances to see a lot of fish like mackerels, tunas, barracudas, surgeonfish, sweetlips, and triggerfish in the blue, especially when the current is running. The vibrant colors of the soft corals create a stunning backdrop as you navigate through the walls of Boalemo. Keep an eye out for the graceful movements of mackerels, tunas, barracudas, surgeonfish, sweetlips, and triggerfish as they swim in the crystal-clear blue waters.

Luwuk or Pulau, you can choose to explore either Luwuk or Pulau Dua. DAY 6
The Banggai island group is located in the eastern part of central Sulawesi, at the border between the Banda Sea and the Maluku Sea. Most of the dives are on off shore reefs with vertical walls down to several hundred meters. You can easily drift along these beautiful walls, with a lot of gorgonians and black coral bushes, small caves and overhangs. On some fringing reefs you may also encounter larger animals like turtles, groupers and occasionally sharks and rays. The inner islands, the atolls, are more protected for critters like frogfish, ribbon eel, bobtail squid and endemic species like the Banggai cardinalfish.

We will check out from Tambora liveaboard and bid farewell to the Farondi and Balbulol regions.
